Women's Political Empowerment Toolkit

Sam Gibson (TPP Associate) and Laure-Hélène Piron (TPP Director) are finalising and testing a toolkit on women's political empowerment for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD).

The toolkit offers practical guidance for FCDO staff interested in promoting the social and political empowermet of women and girls. It provides advice on how to identify policy and programming options, with examples of successful interventions. It is being road-tested through workshops with FCDO teams in Nigeria and Morocco.

The project is being delivered through the FCDO funded and WFD managed Democratic Governance Centre of Expertise.
