Political economy analysis of infrastructure in Ukraine

William Kingsmill, TPP Principal, is advising a Ukrainian team which is undertaking a political economy analysis (PEA) for the UK-government funded Green Cities and Infrastructure programme. 

The PEA aims to understand multi-level governance and decision-making, with a focus on accountability and transparency in infrastructure recovery of Ukraine. It is based on a literature review, targeted interviews with key stakeholders in government, the private sector and civil society, and broader consultations. 

William is providing on-the-job training, mentoring and quality assurance to the team responsible for the analysis, and will ensure that the analysis provides operational recommendations for the programme and the UK government.
