Political economy analysis in action training for the Horn of Africa

TPP Directors Laure-Hélène Piron and Neil McCulloch delivered an in-person training for the Kulmis Support Team, a third party monitoring project advising the Swiss Development Cooperation Horn of Africa programme. 

The three day event brought together 15 participants from both SDC and its third party monitoring experts in Nairobi. Laure-Hélène and Neil delivered interactive presentations and facilitated group exercises, including real case studies of SDC programmes on gender-based violence across the Horn and on the Tog Wajaale economic corridor between Somaliland and Ethiopia. 

The training will be followed up with mentoring and collaboration on applied political economy analyses across the region.
