Mohamed has nearly 11 years of research experience, technical advisory service, policy development and analysis, legal reforms as well as project implementation in conflict-affected countries. Focus areas include: peacebuilding, state building, democratization, local governance, political economy, security sector reform, conflict resolution, public financial management, land reform, media reform and policy management. He employs a practical, hands-on approach to organizational management and stakeholder engagement, and has developed a strong ability to collect, analyze and grasp technical issues. He has acquired a strong academic and research background, and has authored various publications. Country experience: Sierra Leone, Somalia, Ethiopia, Somaliland, South Africa.
